Honing

Hollow ground razors are honed for $13, and near wedges are honed for $19.  I do not hone wedges.  Email me at LarryAndro@GMail.com before mailing the razors, and  I will give you my mailing address.  When I receive your razor(s), I will send you verification by email.  You can pay me then.

Trade Razor for Honing

If you have a razor whose blade is not rust pitted, you can trade it for honing of a second razor.  Email me at LarryAndro@GMail.com for details.  When arranged, mail me two razors.  I will hone and return the one specified, and keep and resell your other razor.

Trade for $13

No matter how much you newbies read about razor styles - the blade grind and width particularly, you won't know what style razor you will prefer without trying.  So, quit obsessing about buying the perfect razor!  Just buy any razor on this site and give it a try.

To help you try different razor styles, I offer a special "trade for the price of honing" deal.  Buy a razor here, use it for awhile, then trade for another razor for the $13 price of honing.  Select a similarly priced razor, and contact me with details.  Once arranged, mail your old razor back to me.  When I reply stating that the return razor is in hand, send me $13.  I will keep your old razor and resell it, and hone and mail you the "new" straight razor.
